My VL Pedal Power 2 Plus ran out of juice. The culprits are a Boss MS3, Digitech Freqout and Drop. Not enough current to run these. My other board with a Friedman Power Grid runs these with zero problems. Pissed. I ordered another Friedman.

Goal! I've mailed RAN Guitars and after responding (best and fastest customer service ever?) it seems like they can do exactly what I want. Save for a SLIGHTLY MINOR variation on body and headstock, but it's still within acceptable difference from Jackson or old ESP M-I They do it ALL...

As you may be aware, I may have somewhat been a tad, a wee, a little, just a tiny bit obnoxious with my heckling of Drew over the last year about his cycling. We finally got out for our first ride together today and did this: And I have to say, Drew is a damn strong rider. :yesway: Honestly...

...so let's just get down to business. Eventide Modfactor My second Factor unit. I've since fallen in love with the Pitchfactor so this was logical. Plus it's great that I can consolidate a bunch of modulation effects that I tend to love when using individual pedals especially for...

My dad and I did a local-ish 5k. We came in 270th and 271st out of 450. We were aiming for under 45 minutes and did it in 36:59. :yesway: He's got a few years of running on me as you can tell  but I've been at it for a few months and am down 20lbs or so, so I'm gonna try and stick at this...

I'm relatively new here, I haven't really started posting, but what better way to start my time here at MG.org than a NGD! Ran 7 String Crusher It's an amalgamation of all the cool features and ideas i've come across on other guitars. I initially planned to get a modest/bare bones Crusher 7...

I order this back in March and changed the neck woods from 3 piece maple to maple/purple heart 5 piece and added luminous green side dot inlays. I then got an email from them saying that some point this week it will be going on to the finishing bench and here's a few photos: I looks a...

The RAN arrived today. I am honestly amazed with the build quality on this instrument, it is really top notch work. Preliminary thoughts: This 8 probably has the clearest low end I have encountered thus far, and it does so without sounding tinny or harsh in the higher range. It is a pleasure...

So after messing around trying to decided exactly what I wanted on a full custom I opted for a very expensive try before I buy. My girl friend even recommended it as I don't buy another guitar for a long time. I have my wood choices and very similar specs to what I want and I really like the...
