Has anyone here tried recording using the salve out direct into their interface and using cab sims? I've got an older mid 90's dual rec that I'd like to start recording with. Ideally I'd just get a mic and preamp but I can't afford anything till I'm out of school and back to work.

On a Triple Rectifier Solo head, what is the C+ mod and does it make any difference? I have a general idea of what the Rev C - Rev F, etc, are about and I've read up on it a bit but, none of it gives me the insight you guys would have. Thanks -
