I've had this sitting around for years for a project that never took off. Has been sat in a box in my cupboard but does have a few scratches. Comes with the Ibanez V87H and V77H pickups that would have originally came with the guitar. Only asking £75 including postage.

Swapped out the neck pickup which was a Dimarzio PAF 7 for a Duncan Distortion to match the bridge pickup. This involved modifying the mounting tabs of the pickup and cutting the pole pieces down so it would fit the Ibanez's shallow routes. It has black pole pieces, so it doesn't match exactly...

Since both of these guitars are pretty close spec and pickup wise, I decided to put them in a head to head match up. Which one do you think won? I actually have a new set of pickups, an Airnorton and a OG JP pickup that I need to put in my 1527. The V77/88s are ok for stock pickups.

This pickguard was advertised on Fleabay for RG7620's. I gambled on it fitting my RG7420 and won. This RG had a very thin matte finish when I got it. Playing it constantly I wore through it. New pickguard looks way better IMHO. I'll string it up tomorrow.
