  1. Guitar: Gear Discussion Inspired by Iron Mike's thread. I have a Mesa V30 4x12 now and I like it, along with a C90 1x12 that I'm completely enamored with. I wouldn't mind...

  4. Guitar: Gear Discussion
Picked up a Road King (v1) a few months back, and I'm loving it. However, the clean channels seem suuper quiet. I basically have to run them at like 3:00 to keep up with Channel 4 at around 9:00/10:00. And then they start to break up a little. Any advice?

A tidy looking car if I do say so. All of the toys from the current 3-series, and a big enough boot to throw my entire rig in. I'd imagine the inevitable 2L diesel engine for the EU market will be extremely low in road tax over here too, the current 3-series is only £35 a year for the 320D...

Bought a pair of Fender Roadworn basses today, the RW 60's Jazz and the RW 50's P. I was playing my old Fernandes P/J 4 the other day and loved the sounds but it's just not a good bass. Had a ball playing a 4 string again as well, so these two should satisfy the 4 string urge and fill out the...

Everything you need to know is right here in this video! The entire build story, the custom neck by Eric Bauer, and the secrets of what i believe Ibanez used on all those classic neon colors (like road flare red, Loch Ness green, shocking pink, etc), the whole nine yards. This guitar is a dream...

I kind of splurged on this, but, well, it's a great tripod, is compact and light enough that I can take it hiking (3.1 pounds), and most importantly, looks fucking badass. Also, it's carbon fiber, which means better tone and I can shave a few milliseconds off my shutter speed!!! My brother has...

Bought another bike this weekend! Specialized Allez Sport. Beats the hell out of the hybrid Schwinn Mesa frankenbike I had been riding around town :yesway: I can't believe how freakin' light it is, and I know it's not even really that light compared to what you can get nowadays. The handling...

Finally some serious possible competition against the Mini Rectifier. I want a Road King so I might switch to the Mini Mark rather than the Mini Rec depending on how much I like it (but it'll take a lot for me to switch ). Also mid-boost on ch. 1 and the built-in cab clone are interesting...
  16. General Music Discussion
The guitar chords are all very basic, and the vocal lines are soft and stay in the most accessible registers. There is no special technical proficiency or exertion behind it, yet it's a very compelling and evocative piece. Having seen and absolutely loved the show, I also feel there's a certain...
