https://www.sonicperspectives.com/news/bryan-beller-announces-new-album-scenes-from-the-flood/ A pretty large scale project from the bassist. Considering his track record (Aristocrats, Dethklok, Satch, Vai, Dweezil Zappa and a ton of others), the list of guest performers and producers is quite...

It's the song that Coldplay apparently "ripped off" for this song Viva la Vida. I don't really care if they did because for guitar music it's awesome. I saw satch live in 2005 with I was 13 and Eric Johnson opened up. Joe made me watch to quit guitar. It was unbelievable.

Nothin' crazy, but pretty cool nonetheless. Never heard Dime bring up Satch before but he obviously listened!

Only just stumbled into this last night. Not only does he cover my favorite track from the Surfing album, but he does it so faithfully as well as flawlessly. :facemelt:

Steve Blucher and the fine folks at DiMarzio (what's up, Eric!) hooked me up with a new neck pickup, Joe Satriani's "Satch Track". Here's a quick demo. Also using my Eventide Pitchfactor (with "stun knob") for immature sound effects and the AxeFX2 for sweet amp modeling.

So I picked up a new tablet last week and discovered I can pair it with my TV to send Youtube videos from it straight to the TV. Very cool. While goofing around I came across this jem (lol) that doesn't seem to have been posted before. Enjoy. All due apologies to Noodles, Satch was better...

I've decided it really makes more sense as two albums - a kickass instrumental album with one vocal track, "Big Bad Moon," that's ok, and a shitty vocal albnum that I always skip. Still, this has always been one of my least favorite Satch albums (probably because of the vocals, and because...

sounds a little too thick I think, plus my playing has gone down the fucking shitter. I reaaly need to start doing some serious wood shedding:rant: this is completely raw withjust a touch of delay (i'm trying to get the best sound I can raw before I star using filters etc). (still can't...
