I saw this at the store the other day and it said you're supposed to put it on the nut and it will help the strings slide smoothly or something.
In all my years of playing I've never heard of greasing the nut, nor ever really had a problem with it. Is this something I am missing out on?

Any "taste test" that ranks Frank's Red-Hot as #1 is completely absurd. Yes, it makes great buffalo wings, provided you fortify it with something a bit spicier. No, that doesn't mean it's a "hot sauce," much less a good tasting one. :noway:
