got my 550 all set up now with a Gravity Storm in the bridge and a Liquifire in the neck. Absolutely loving the Gravity storm really sweet sounding pickup. I didn't know if it would work in Basswood or not but it certainly does. I will try and get a clip up this weekend.

I got them from Larry Dimarzio to make a review. Like I said in my review, Vai pups were created to match his amps, I don't see too much difference between gravity storms and evolutions through amp modellers so if you already have evolutions and play with modellers, I don't see any need of...

One of my students got this installed in his RG Premium, and I got to spend an hour or so with it. It is easily one of the best neck pickups I have ever tried! Maybe the best. It has single coil clarity, humbucker thickness, and loads of that wonderful swishy pick attack you get from pickups...

It literally melted some stuff in it. The smoke was intense and it was hot even 30 minutes after that. I am lucky that the rest of the computer was not damaged... or better said the rest of the house and me in it!
