This thing showed up today:
I'm going to have to make a video with it. It's fuckin' ridiculous! I can't say if it does what I want it to do yet (boost without cutting the low end) because my son is still napping in the next room, but holy shit does this thing have a TON of gain. It...
Been lusting after these since they came out. Sounds so good. Does everything my Carbon Copy did, better, and more. Only spent about an hour with it so far, but I can't wait to play around with it some more.
Some instagram clips until I can get it into my home studio:
Finally managed to find and buy one of these! I didn't think it would be so difficult haha. We used this pedal a lot on the last Sparrows album, so I'm very excited to finally have my own. This was prompted by one of my reverb pedals suffering an ill demise. I'll be getting it wired to the board...
Guitar --> AMT P2 or R2 (or both with an A/B switch :flex: ), into a Strymon Timeline, then into a stereo power amp. I already own a Velocity 100 I use as a backup amp.
IDK, that sounds like a phenomenal little guitar rig. AMT and Strymon seem to be the top of the pedal effects food chain...
My micro POG showed up yesterday, so I'm currently* set for pedals.
I wish I had bought more velcro and laid it out in strips, but hindsight is 20/20.
Fun fact: these pedals are from all over. DL4 from drew, bluesky from al3d in quebec (he doesnt post much here but he's a member), POG from...
Big reverb that is!
Just got my bluesky from my friend in Quebec. Clean, came with power supply, and it was a great price. I have to pick up my girlfriend then it's going into the Pro Reverb with the strat and I'm going to get lost for a bit. I really look forward to gigging this thing!
Strymon El Capistan & Favorite Switch (I'd like to keep these together) - $300
Suhr Riot - $150
TC Electronic Corona Chorus - $70
EHX Signal Pad - $25
MXR Phase 90 - $50
I have original boxes/paperwork for all of the pedals. Strymon has the included power supply. Corona does not have the USB...
Another "Big Strymon," just with reverb this time. Was listening to demo videos, and was thinking "Cool, but too much for me. I'd rather have the Bluesky if anything."
Then I heard this (especially the "Reverence" preset starting at 0:51).
I'm still not going to buy one ($479 is a bit...
Yep, it's a big day for me, haha.
The whole board with the newbies:
The BDRI is exactly what I expected - really loud, but great cleans. It takes pedals fairly well, but I do think my other amps trump it in that regard.
The El Capistan is the best delay pedal to ever exist. I've been...

I picked up a few things on an order from Thomann last week. One of the things I got was a Strymon El Capistan. I heard clips from it a good while back and thought it sounded great. I checked out more vids and they all sounded really good so I was looking at them but the price put me off. When I...
Selling for $200 + shipping CONUS. I bought this from Chris a little over a year ago, and it's been a great delay pedal. Shows little sign of wear, and operates perfectly. I'm interested in trades for a Strymon Timeline, or any bass compressors. References on here and ebay as 'merritt stone'.
