Got to check it out a bit today. It's a bit more rockin' than the last couple albums, but holy shit is it ever brickwalled. I know Chris mentioned something previously about all of BW/Thornley stuff being brickwalled and maybe this is a sign that Ian Thornley is going fucking deaf at an...
My girlfriend was soundtech at a local gig and I assisted a bit as well as handling recording/filming the gig. :flex:
I mixed it for about an hour or so the morning after the gig.
Second Sun plays some kind of 70s rock.
Check it out!
I've been looking for a mahogany body, maple board 6er with a trem for a little bit, and I think I've narrowed it down to these two. Anyone have any experience with either? Finding them locally to try out hasn't gone very well, so I thought I'd ask here. I'm mostly asking about feel/playability...
Found this while looking at Slashdot. Apparently it was taken by the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) and is the most sensitive photo ever taken of the sun in the X-ray spectrum. Cool pic, regardless. :leon:

Now that I'm actually a musician for a living, I've run out of time to do music  So, here's some long overdue crap!
I took the band into the studio last month to record a few videos, including a few things that people had been asking for - here's the first video, "Low Winter Sun", from my...
Seemingly on their way up the ladder, and definitely worth checking out!
Absolutely awesome guys too!
Download their album on Bandcamp too (it's worth giving them cash for IMO).

Black Sun Rising (The Coldfire Trilogy, #1) by C.S. Friedman - Reviews, Discussion, Bookclubs, Lists
Just picked this up on Audible with this month's Amazon prime credit. Anyone else read it? Seems to get pretty solid reviews everywhere.
Good stuff. But Jesus Christ is it hard to read. Anyone else read it? Right up the same alley as Eternal Champion stuff, but more confusing. Tons of stuff that just comes out of nowhere with no point of reference. Nonetheless a great series IMO.
Just something different within my stash with the SLAT3-7 and a heavily modified COW7 both in black
With the COW7 I never liked the TOM bridge height so it's been recessed like we're used to seeing with KXK guitars. It's also got a neck EMG and a 3 way toggle. It now has the similar feel...
I'v been spinning this disc alot lately. It fucking rules. I dont know why these guys dont get more love.
I cant find the first track on youtube, but its really a stand out for me. Sounds like hes using an 8 string on it too(the first song atleast).
