Probably not many people here who might have this situation but I'll post up with some of my lessons learned doing this work...
Having grown up in the days of cassette 4-track recorders, I tried to leverage my Roland D-20 synth workstation to do the most work of bass, keyboards, and drums. A...
It sounds pretty good.
Yes I'm trying to write a relaxing ambient EP right now. The not relaxing one is done .

This is JP's music - he just put an album out. https://jeanpaulderoover.com/
not sure if anyone else saw this, but MOOG and Korg are both giving away their syntheisizer apps for free until march 20 to give all the quarantined people something to do.
I think the Korg is iOS and Android while the MOOG is iOS only...
Sorry for the blurry pic. I've had some GAS for a synth for a little while now. Soft synths are cool, but I dig hardware.
Found this Korg Triton Pro for dirt cheap and had to snag it. Some pretty epic sounds in it.
Psyched.
So, Behringer is making a Minimoog clone, as all the old Moog patents have long since expired. It has been rumored to cost in the neighborhood of $299, which is quite a bit cheaper than a new Moog Model D ($3500)!
So, if you always wanted a Minimoog (who hasn't?), check out this comparison...
As I've been building up my computer recording setup, I've also wanted to add some sort of synth option. I've always loved Korg's Trinity/Triton synth sounds so I was really considering picking up a Triton rackmount unit & then using a MIDI controller for the keyboard. I still wasn't completely...
Listen to the keyboard part that begins at 0:30. What sound is that? Is it a strings patch or some kind of synth lead? I hear it in a lot of power metal songs but I don't know what it is. I want to get that sound but I can't tell what it is mixed in with everything else.

You can type in words and it will sing them! Check out the examples on their page.
Expensive, though.
Here's a vid I found of some dude demoing it:
Access Virus KC.
Hell of a synth, tons of cool presets. Took all of 5 minutes to figure out the interface. Not as versatile as the ti (no wavetable synthesis) and certainly not as user friendly but damn does it sound just as good.
Pics later tonight after I'm done messing around some more.
Hoping to get some advice on this one. I have a dead guitar cable so decided to teach myself about adding some synthesizer and other electronic stuff to my recordings. Any advice is very welcome, although I know the guitar should be a bit brighter (if I had a working cable I'd do it over)...
This came Tuesday but due to the holiday I just got to hook it up and try it out today. The Roland GR-55.
Wanted to document the setup but my camera died halfway through...

New to me, anyway. It's a GR-33, from probably 2000 to 2003 or so. Soundset is from the JV series, and is marginally better sounding than the 30 I had before.
I had bought the GR-55, but it just doesn't like piezo pickups, and the VG sounds were horrible with the GK pickup, so back it went. At...
Cleaning out the basement - would really prefer to sell this stuff locally, as it's big and heavy and sucks to ship.
Avatar 2x12 closed back cab, black carpet covered, great condition. No idea what speakers are in it - if you really want to know, I'll open it up and look :) Asking $250
