Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to buy shielding pads somewhere, like 12"x12"? Something that would be used as a removable shield that would be more durable than using a loose sheet of shielding tape. Per example, I want to put a 12"x12" shield between the floor of a pedalboard and the...

Currently on sale for $69 for the next few days, and I no longer have a decent tape sim at my disposal since switching to a Mac. Anyone worked with it? What's it good at? What's it less good at? What else should I look at in the sub-$100 range? I'd be looking to use it mostly as a way to warm...

Have to put the front grille back on the retolexed 5150 housing, but realised as it's "open" I don't know where it goes. Can someone measure the front of theirs and tell me how many mm/cm there is between the edge and the grille? ie, how deep it is mounted in the body? That'd be awesome :)

A Mellotron emulator you say? And sounds amazing you say? Even with a keyboard I want one.

I've had this Waves Kramer Master Tape plugin for a while and decided to give it a go on the drum bus. I don't have much experience with micing/mixing a live kit but I think I'm getting decent results. Pretty happy with what it can do overall, going to try out Slate VTM soon to see how it...

Hey guys, my name is Leon, and I'm basically new to this entire section of the forum  Thing is, the guys in my coverband are getting restless and want to start writing some originals. Since I've never done that before, it's pretty scary, but definitely exciting at the same time. What...

I'd been using the Antress tape sim on a PC which was OK but useful as a special effect here and there, but I can't use it on a Mac. So, what CAN I use? Freeware or relatively cheap would be preferable, but let's say sub-$200 budget or so.

I'd like to trade this for some other kind of delay but may consider other stuff. $150 shipped will take it home also the pedal is mint. I sold on MG.org and my Ebay user name is Boots-paul.

My mid-winter spree of indulgent instrumental guitar video clips continues unabated! I knocked this one together last night using presets on the Fractal Audio Axe-FX 2 and a little help from a couple of pedals, most notably the Eventide Pitchfactor (controlled with the patented STUN KNOB)...

Hey guys, I started this cover a couple of weeks back and thought it'd be a good occasion to try out Slate's VTM tape emulator on the master chain. If anyone would like to do vocals for this I'd be up for finishing off the rest of the track. I just slapped VTM on the master chain rather than...

So i'm browsing the classifieds on the other site, and I come across this monstrosity. Everything is...wrong. The best part? He'll even throw on a fresh coating of tape for you before he ships it out.

I'm building a new backup solution for my company, and as we are a small startup, we're trying to go with open source as much as possible. This is double fun for me, since I've never been the "backup guy" wherever I've worked in the past, so I just don't have much experience with tape robots...
