Are there certain types of strings based on whether they're nylon, steel, brass etc. and the gauges, that make the sort of lead guitar tapping easier and others that make it near impossible?
Or is it all in the technique?
I'm trying to learn more lead techniques, more used...

I've heard people do stuff like this before but I don't think I've actually ever seen someone do it, like watched them.
On an unrelated note I love this guy's lead tone. The tone he has from 2:58 - 3:35 is fucking awesome.
Im working on this shapely two hand tapping set of riffs.
I however keep stalling? when I want to switch to picking....

I always tuck my jazzIII into my middle finger so I can use the rest for tapping.

So .. its occurred to me that there may be Tosin Abasi's out there making sounds on guitar that nobody has even thought of before.
Or even just new approaches or anything, really!

hey guys, I really want to be able to do stuff like this but having a hard time. I can do the Eruption type stuff just fine, but this I can't get this to sound good...anyone have any good advice for maybe easier exercises to work up to this?
