Sadly the Links don't seem to go anywhere...
Last yr i asked for some pickup recommendations for a tele i had built. Bought a set of Fralin blues. I love the neck pickup but need something thicker with more gain for the bridge?
Atm imi leaning towards getting the texas specials that were also mentioned in that thread but before i grab...
A while back i refretted a 70's Greco telecaster for a relative and while testing it out though my rig i caught the tele bug. Wasnt able to find one of those Grecos decently priced or one that didnt need a ton of work so i decided to just make a tele. Should have this finished in the next week...
Some of you may have seen this in varying levels of assembly on FB already, but here are the official baby pictures. Roasted ash body, roasted flame maple neck with just abalone side dots, Sperzels, and the Fishman Greg Koch set. It is really awesome. I did get a satin nitro finish on the neck...
Hey guys -
Picked up a G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy (singlecoil bridge, humbucker neck) and I'm experiencing a bit of feedback on the B string. It's possible that I'm too close to the amp and it's possible that channel 2 on the Lonestar will just do this on a Tele style guitar - channel one...
No idea if the name is gonna stick, we'll see . Clifford because it's a fairly red guitar, and the neck is massive.
I convinced my family to chip in on a telecaster, and then found a local luthier to build it. Sometimes things fall into place :yesway:. The build is being done by Ayr...
Mexican made tele with BKP Piledrivers and locking tuners. Comes with a Fender molded ATA case. Currently has the flat pick guard installed, I'll send em both though. $650.
EBMM Sterling JP100D Koa with Dimarzio Cliplocks $600
Just clearing out guitars I don't play. Realizing superstrats...
So I just got one of these.
The stock pickups are serviceable (quite decent actually) but it's an Ibby and they're begged to be changed.
I loved the Texas Special on a US Special Tele I borrowed a while back, and was set on getting a pair of those for this guitar, but now I'm thinking...
Looking for any cheap and decent set of Telecaster pickups for my main player to replace the mildly-crappy stock set. I'm not picky about which ones. They can be modern, noiseless, humbucking, vintage, mismatched, whatever, as long as they still mostly sound like a Telecaster.
I have been completing this guitar for a few months, experimenting a little until I finally settled on a configuration. The idea for this baritone guitar was inspired by some of the single-coil type sounds of Tosin. I wanted a downtuned axe that excelled at more dynamic clean-ish tones, with a...
Been thinking about picking up a Tele for a while, especially since we used Nolly's relic Tele on Juggernaut quite a bit, and after a lot of looking around I decided to get the Tele Select. It was just such a gorgeous take on the instrument.
The guitar is very light, which was a very pleasant...
I was going to hold off posting this until I had time to do a video, but work hasn't let off and I didn't want to wait anymore.
Not a lot to say. Great looking guitar, great sounding guitar. Thick meaty neck.

I'm selling my Benford Hellicaster.
If you want something that looks metal as hell, look no further. American built and finished, Steve is a great guy.
It no longer has the pickguard. I took it off and then it got lost while moving. Steve can definitely make another one...
