These guys are friends of mine, but also a really solid doom band. I may not know much about the genre, but I know the singer knows doom inside and out, and I know this whole album rules. Turn it up loud. Video Premiere: Yeti On Horseback's "Tree of Death" â€" Decibel Magazine

How did this inlay first come about? I have a feeling it was introduced with the Jem at some point, but maybe some of you Ibby fanatics can clarify. It's not important. Just curious about it, really.

The World Premiere of Porcupine Tree's 'Bonnie The Cat' || Roadrunner Records Interesting. Well done, I like it. Almost a little too much like Tool's videos, what with the stop-motion and all that, but...it works.

I posted this on ss.org, but like most "I'ma suggestin' a band no one's ever heard of" threads, it got pretty much ignored over there. I figured I'd put them up here as well. Let the thread die if you so please, I thought they deserved the chance, though:  strangeletter I stumbled...

Alright, so just got back home from Toronto, and I must say, this was a top-5 (maybe even top-3) show for me. Incredible show, Porcupine Tree played for just under 2.5 hours, and at $35 a ticket, that's fucking awesome. The opening act was Bigelf. I really liked their set. Very much a 70s...

This is Trains performed by an a cappella group. It doesn't really compare to the original, but it's interesting.

Yep, someone brought Bloodbath's "The Fathomless Mastery" and Porcupine Tree's "Lightbulb Sun" to demo some speakers. Gotta say, both sounded amazing cranking through even our most basic speakers, and it was really cool to hear loud death metal at work  Now I'm checking out more Bloodbath...

The Bonsai Tree My sister said I needed a hobby. She said it's not healthy to work eight-hour days in a cubicle under florescent lights staring at a computer screen and coming home to watch late-night TV alone eating stale pizza. Maybe she's right. I used to play online poker, at least...
