I could have sworn I seen a company making these again not long ago (Not BC Rich) but I can't remember who. I always liked the addition of the ribs for grip. It was simple but useful. Highly doubt i'd find an old one for sale. Anyone seen any floyd tremolo arms like the one in this pic...

Just saw this on FB, some might be interested on it. Pete Thorn has been prototyping it for some time now. Its not just an Unboxing video.

Hi all, I'm looking to get back into electric guitar specifically for metal and have found over the last 30 years that I prefer shorter scale instruments but not too narrow of a neck. I was wondering if anyone could please post recommendations of guitars that are 24.75" to 25" scale length with...

No matter what i do it seems that i fail with this technique. And i can't find a proper guide how to succeed in it. It seems i always somehow moving my arm and not the wrist and am not sure how much the arm should move. How to position the hand itself on the guitar when doing so string by string...

Is it replaceable with a Gotoh? I might get a nice deal on a Korean S270 but I would like to know if anyone knows for sure if its a Direct Replace.

As the title says. I'm really wanting to add a strat to my arsenal in the near future, but in all honesty i'm really a tele guy. I've been rocking teles for years, and while I do have other axes, either building a parts tele or modding a nashville tele to have 3 strat singles and a 5 way switch...

I am putting my EHX Super Pulsar for sale, bought it new almost a year ago, it is hardly used and is freshly "serviced". (*) Velcro on the back. I am asking for 180,- and that price is "shipped in EU" (still including UK :D ). Amazing pedal, does much more than I actually need and I need space...

Looking to kill the noise from my trem springs in my 7s. I tried foam but can still hear some ring from them. I was wondering if anyone uses the Floyd noiseless springs and if they work. Also which should I get the regular, heavy duty or mix of both? I use different tuning for each B, A, Drop A etc.

Is there a video (hell even a set of instuctions with pics would do) that explains how to setup a tremolo on a PRS? Im mainly looking at how to properly set the 6 set? screws. Im having issues not being able to lower my action on my PRS SE CU24. The saddle is bottomed out and the trem is sitting...

So, it's been a while since I've posted here. I'm currently finishing working on a guitar and would like advice on what I should go for. Essentially, it's like this. I'm using a MIM strat body with a Warmoth neck, I'm going to be using Sperzel tuners that match the color of the bridge, and...

Turns out Vai's been developing a trem system that doesn't require an allen wrench. Hence 'tool-less'. Photos of a new Jem with the prototype unit. The nut's got a lever system, and a new bridge saddle design. Interesting design overall, and in theory, it's good for practicality...

So I have an Ibanez RG450DX that came with an edge zero 2 tremelo. when I first used it a couple months ago it worked no problem. Then the problems started...I couldn't tune it without one end of the strings changing pitch to compensate for the tension of the strings. if I did get it fully in...

I just discovered the coolest thing ever. I did this on a HM Strat I'm modding at the moment. You can just take out the studs and bushings for the Kahler Spyder trem and screw in the Gotoh Floyd studs right in the wood hole, and it's a spot on fit! No real need to actually drill new holes for a...

So I am about to return to the U.S (I've been deployed overseas for the past six months) One of my buddies is lazy and doesn't want to carry back his Fender MIM Standard Strat. It has a hardshell case and the David Gilmour EMG-DG20 pickup set. Guitar plays amazingly. I've used it a handful of...

But it works! I was inspired by the other MG member's thread showing a window lock to block the tremolo on my circa 90ish charvel. I now have a weight relieved charvel due to how many holes I made trying to get the tremolo to sit where I like it. First tries were too high, sky high action...

So, I had purchased a used RGT42DXFM, and just put in a set of Pegasus/Sentient pickups (holy fuck the amount of solder i had to take off), forgetting to block off the bridge. I went to readjust the back spring screws, and found out one of them is stripped. Now, I figure I just go and buy two...
