3 Way Lever Switch Question

I bought this switch and had some questions about it. All the wiring diagrams I've seen have the tabs in 2 rows of 4. This one has 8 in one row. Do I alternate each tab for each side?

What you have is an "import" style switch, the other type (the more 'traditional' type) is known as a "wafer" switch.

This diagram should help show you which terminals correlate to each other

Tbh dude, import switches are fine if you get a good one. So long as the lever isn't too wobbly it's all good.

Well, maybe I'll give it a try with the import switch then.
