Replaced my LO TRS in my RG7420. Seemed to fit perfectly, until I went to put the cavity cover back on. The block is just a hair too tall. I still have to measure the block, but Floyd Upgrades has 7 string brass blocks. I think the 34mm one is the one I need. Anybody run across this problem? Does anybody know where else to get 7 string OFR replacement blocks?

6 string and 7 string OFR blocks are the same dimensions AFAIK

https://floydrose.com/products/frotub?variant=29837596946

"These blocks will fit the Original Series 6 & 7-string, Special Series & 1000 Series 6-string, and the 1000 Series Pro 6 & 7-string tremolos."

So basically any OFR compliant block in 32mm. I know FR sells them directly but I'm sure you can find them in that same price range online.

I've probably got one around I can send you. Let me check when I get home. (I swap all of mine out for the 42mm blocks.)

Edit: Mine are probably 37mm. But I'll still check.

Thanks. 37mm is what I have now, so I kind of need 32mm.

The other thing you can do is just leave the trem cavity cover off, for maximum SRV:
