Seriously, what's the deal? Where are they? :mad: A quick google brings this up:





Which looks good, but I think would be a lot sweeter looking with a darker body.

Taylor makes or has made one at some point, I played a maple boarded Taylor at the Sam Ash in NYC back in August.

It sounded pretty incredible too. Convinced me to do the maple fretboard on my acoustic.

If you're wanting to buy one, I'd really recommend calling the Sam Ash in NYC, it was honestly a great guitar, if they still have it, it's worth taking the trip.

Tanglewood put maple fret boards on some acoustics.

Maple, birdseye maple and flamed maple are all options for the fretboard wood. I think a figured claro walnut top with a flamed maple fretboard would be SWEET on that, though i do find they look very plain without a rosette around the soundhole.

I remember Dean making a maple fretboard acoustic with some type of snake graphic (mamba?).
we have one of those in stock!

i can not in good conscience tell anyone to get within 50 feet of the thing :lol:
