It works on the iPad too; I wonder if they're doing a universal version with a iPad screen-optimized interface, instead of the 2x mode. Having pedals and amp settings at a glance with a 10" screen would be nice. Also, the preset switching is sweet; just touch the patch.

Just buy a refurb iPod touch for less than $200. It'll do this, plus web surfing, e-mail, movies, mobile porn, etc.

Something like that running full-screen on the iPad would be incredible. I wonder if there's a way to make a foot controller that could be hooked up through the dock connector. Cuz that would absolutely rock.

I've never had the cash budgeted for a full featured plan to get myself a new iPhone, but I've bought a couple iPhone 2G's locally for <$100 and they were pretty capable. I actually saw one FS locally for $55 and another for $75 the other day. Seems a viable option for anybody wanting to get their on hands the program and the iPhone features (well, sans phone unless you're hacktivated).

That said, I'm picking up a 3G off a guy next week sometime and I'll definitely be getting this. :yesway:

Yeah that's all good in theory, at this point I don't have enough to restring my 7420, and just finished selling a bunch of stuff to pay bills and whatnot :lol:

It looks really cool though, definitely a neat idea :yesway:
