Action Music in Falls Church has one of these, with passive pickups, in a dark wine color, for $699:

It's probably going to need frets to be a shredder axe (they started as jumbo, but they're now about Gibson LP height), but it is a solid 8/10 otherwise. Trem stays in tune with lots of flutter, and the neck pickup tone is absolutely devastating. Someone go buy it.

They also have the best Charvel San Dimas 2H I have ever played, in seafoam green no less.

Yeah, both those guitars were awesome. Note that you don't have to be in DC - I believe Action will ship it to you. :yesway:
I can definitely vouch for the guys at Action, they're top notch, so I'd have no trouble ordering something from them over the phone. However, anyone near here should stop by and play those two guitars. God damn.

Any pics of the SFG Charvel? I can't afford it, but I'd love to drool.

It's also got that one piece maple neck, with no separate fretboard.

I'm totally not into 27-fret guitars, but that Hamer is yummeh.

And for some reason, SFG looks better to me with a white (or pearloid) pickguard and a rosewood board. But that's a pretty sweet Charvel, none the less.
