The screen res really is all it has going for it. Behind that screen, it's another incremental upgrade, only barely faster than the predecessor. Also, I love the "Retinal Display" marketing bs they came up with, so much better than just calling it HD :rofl: I'll be honest though, at 854x480 on my Droid, I can't make out individual pixels, and I have flawless vision. They only threw out the 300dpi number to make their screen look that much better than the Droid or Nexus One or Incredible of EVO 4G, IMO.

Honestly, there comes a point when you have to ask yourself how much screen awesomeness you really need. Even the old 1G iPhones have pretty fuckin' awesome screens on them, and the screen on this HTC I have for work is unreal.

I mean, better is better, but it's like the old video card wars where you'd spend $500 to upgrade to the latest and greatest to run 8x AA instead of 4, or get 40FPS instead of 35 and convince yourself that it was worth the money.

Honestly, there comes a point when you have to ask yourself how much screen awesomeness you really need. Even the old 1G iPhones have pretty fuckin' awesome screens on them, and the screen on this HTC I have for work is unreal.

You've got the HD2, that's as much screen awesomeoness as one needs. Seriously, 4.3" at a lower res, IMO, trumps 3.5" at a higher res. 3.7" on my Droid seems small by comparison to the EVO 4G/HD2, and I have a higher res screen for fucks sake :lol:

I've had a crackberry for about a year, but when I had an iPhone, it didn't have MMS which is why I was curious.
