Hi am just wondering, on a guitar does it matter to you whether if the fret markers are symmetrical between the D and G strings? Say if I have a guitar that's got fret markers that are closer to the D strings and not so 'centred' would it affect its value?

Depends on how pedantic we are talking. Hell, I would expect a cheaper manufactured guitar to be more off centre than a high end one but it doesn't bother me. Wouldn't affect resale value either.

If you look closely in this pic you can see the fret markers on the Bunny (the cherry burst one) are just the slightest bit over towards the treble side of the fretboard. This happened when I dropped it once, they all just slipped a bit or something.
