I don't play video games very much and though assassins creed was way too easy. There was an xmen wolverine game that came out probably like 7-9 years ago that honestly I think is significantly better gameplay. Anytime I play ac i think of that game and how I remember that game being significantly more challenging and not nearly as repetitive.

Edit: It was called x2.

I love these games, and in the last year have played all of them so far, at my buddy's place  I don't own an XBox, but I go over there to play these  The story's awesome, the gameplay is great, and if all else fails, I can sit around poisoning guards, throwing coins at them, and watching them plow into peasants all day long

I agree with Naren, the only Wolverine game that was any good was the last one, and aside from great action, it was repetitive and buggy as hell. The Gambit boss battle was nearly impossible to get through because of all the bugs.

The Assassin's Creed series is outstanding, though I would rather a completely new plateau for the game every 2-3 years vs. basically an add-on pack coming out every year, but I really can't complain. If you want a game in the same vein as Assassin's Creed, Infamous is the only one I can think of that does this style as well.

I just finished the game and I'm just blown away by all of the questions that were answered. I'm extremely excited to see what Desmond does in the next one however at the same time I don't want AC to end. I still need to gather animus fragments to finish Desmond's story. Is it just me or did Altair's son looked a bit too much like subject 16?

Yeah it sucks. I usually have it happen after I renovate too many banks and tailor shops. Apparently you can avoid the dens being attacked all together if you keep your profile low.
I just beat AC: Revelations yesterday with about 50% of the achievements (which is annoying considering that like 25% of the achievements are multiplayer ) and I plan to get some of the ones I didn't get.

But the thing is... through my entire gameplay, my dens only got attacked once (I mean, not counting the one time they get attacked in the storyline at the beginning of the game). Granted, I never stayed at the "full red full alert" status for very long because I always paid off heralds or murdered "witnesses." So, yeah, keeping your profile low will prevent any of your dens from being attacked.

Pretty cool game, but I felt like the controls were a step down from Brotherhood. :yesway: I would rank Revelations above AC1, but below AC2 and Brotherhood.

I do like the fast moving hook/rope way of getting around. But I've been playing more the original AC than the new one simply because it was bundled together, and the first AC is just a gorgeous game.

When my PS3 broke and I bought a new one, I started playing through AC1 again and I was thinking "Hm, quite a bit different from the more recent ACs, but still pretty awesome." I just loved the setting of the first one. Israel and Syria during the crusades.

I just finished it. Totally blown away by the last hour. Awesome ending.

Yup. :yesway:

There's an article on it in the new Game Informer. Not really a game spoiler, but just in case:

They come out and say "Fans want to know "Why did Lucy Die?". We know - we're getting to it"

Also:

Ezio "meeting" Altaire = total awesome moment. I love when the camera pans around Altair after he sits down, and you can see his robes getting tattered as it goes back to Ezio's time.

Can't wait for the next one.

Yeah I got chills when Ezio was kneeling in front of Altair's skeleton. I think the first really "holy crap" moment for me came when you first become Altair as an 82 year old. I tried climbing... NOPE! I tried running, and he starts coughing and slows down. The game actually made me think about what it would be like to be an old man

Hopefully they have a good reason why Lucy died. As of right now the ending of Brotherhood doesn't make a whole lot of sense with what happened in this game.

Also, non-spoiler, I started enjoying this game a whole lot more when I figured out how to avoid the whole tower command mini-game, and when I stopped trying to replay Desmond's side first person memories. It felt like it was trying too hard to be like Portal or something and I was getting frustrated with it.

I think I only had two tower command mini-games throughout my entire playthrough (one in the main storyline and one not). I was just really paranoid about keeping my notoriousness below maximum level.

I actually liked the Desmond first person missions. They were very very short, so they never really got boring. I think I beat the first one in about 3-4 minutes and the last one in about 6-8 minutes. They mainly just told me stuff I already knew/assumed.

So, question, that I know I've asked before. I did not like AC1. It was fun as balls, then got fucking old fast . I did however fucking love infamous. Worth picking up AC2 and giving it all another shot?

Yes. AC2, ACB, and ACR fix a lot of the repetitiveness from the first one. AC2 is a great place to start, the story may get very confusing very quickly though.
well you need to play AC2 to make sense out of ACB and ACR imo, AC2 should be relatively cheap so go to gamestop get a used copy (unless you're a PC Gamer like me) and if you don't like the game return it and get your money back.
