I'm about to finish restoring the Jackson Stealth I bought a couple of years back. My intention is to paint it bright-as-you-like yellow, and install some green pickups and knobs.

Thing is I'm skint, so while I can afford a decent bridge pup, I'm a bit shafted for the extra £140 or so for two single coils. Does anyone know if you can buy single Dimarzio covers, and whether they fit anything other than Dimarzios? Even better if someone could find me the dimensions :wub:

I think they should fit any single coil pup, because they're standard sizes aren't they?

Well no, because Dimarzio single coils aren't the same size as Fender ones, for example.

I grabbed some standard "black single coil pickup covers" from eBay about a year ago, that were made for F-spaced SC's since the ones in my old Ibby EX sounded great but were beat to shit. They fit right on, and had slots for the pole pieces to poke out of.

I ended up chucking them in the trash, because they were a little too thick.
