Hello All,

I use a BOSS me-80 for jamming and demoing, usually plugging directly into my mixer. *See note at bottom.

It's a really fun unit to use, and I have programmed the thing FULL of hard rocking presets, arranged in banks of related tones.

I am not here to argue the merits of the Boss me-80, just to share this Live Set file with you. I hope you might enjoy it, or at least some of the sounds within it.

Quick Summary of my Banks:
u1: Metal
u2: Classic Rock
u3: Country
u4: PinkFloyd / EVH Brown Sound
u5: Dire Straits
u6: Megadeth
u7: A.I.C. (One of my personal favorites)
u8: for Acoustic Guitar DI
u9: 7 String Djente

I have attached the full Set List Spreadsheet with descriptions and button functions. I may occasionally return to this post to put out an update to the sounds.... depends on the feedback, I guess.

Hope you enjoy, Gid.

*PS: The me-80 "Guitar Amp" outputs are for guitar amps only! The impedance is not correct for line connections at the mixer. You MUST use the REC OUT (headphone jack) to get a proper line signal. If you use the Guitar Amp outs to a line mixer, it will cause a problem with the sound, losing all of the high-end tone.

I just received a used ME-80 I bought from MF. The expression pedal falls flat when you let go. Is it supposed to do this or is it worn out? I'd rather buy a new one if this is not it's default behavior.
I have a Digitech multi-FX pedal and when you press the heel of the exp pedal down, it stays down when you let go, but the Boss pedal falls back to toe-down position when you let go.
So: on a NEW ME-80, would the pedal do the same, or would it stay heel-down when you let go?
It wouldn't be the first time MF/GC sold me defective/damaged gear. They've sold me 3 very back-bowed guitars! (1 electric used, 1 elec bass new, & 1 acoustic bass new)
I would really appreciate getting feedback on this before my return window is over. If the pedal is shot I will return it & buy a new one from a different retailer.
Thank you!
