Awesome, man!

How do you like the Tone Zone and the TZS in the TAT Special?

Also, the Thundercloud came with a silver trem bar?
A. The DiMarzio's sound great in this guitar. Heavy crunch and singing highs.

B. The dude I bought it from had this silver bar so I guess he replaced it at some point. Doesn't bother me so I'm leaving it be.
What does the 2nd knob on the TAT do? They look great btw - is that an extended contour on the TAT as well?
By putting the pickup switch in the middle position, it activates the selector knob for the following pickup variations:

1. Neck Pickup Split Coil (inside)
2. Bridge Pickup Split Coil (inside)
3. Neck Pickup Split Coil (inside)+ Bridge Pickup Split Coil (inside)
4. Neck Pickup & Bridge Pickup

Yes, it's an extended contour. Very comfortable and feels broken in already. That Itaru Kanno...he's a guitar making god.
I"m jealous, I am in love with the thundercloud horus.
That TAT Special is all kinds of awesome. :yesway:

That's really clever!:)

Love the Horus!

:agreed:

That's an interesting way to get a a lot of useful sounds.

Sweet guitars. :D
After a few days, I can honestly say the TAT Special has become one of my favorite guitars, up there with my Ibanez PGM10th's. It's also made me forget about looking for an old Hamer Californian (My one guitar regret is selling) because this one is miles ahead of it.
That is very clever switching, and a great way to give players a configurable middle position sound!

Anyone have a wiring diagram for that switching?
