I bought a dozen of each thickness to try them all out :lol:I need to buy the multi pack so i can find the perfect gauge for me.
The problem here isn't what kind of picks, it's not using your fingers.Personally I think a lot of the guitar guys are using the wrong picks and attribute it to strings.
Do you use round or flat wound strings? I'm assuming round. How often do you change them to not notice any difference? Could just be they weren't dead when you changed them.I do not notice a difference with new bass strings. Now guitar strings, that is a different ballgame. I always change them and there is a huge difference in brightness.Really? Any time I record something I think there might be a remote possibility of keeping I throw fresh strings on. The difference is night and day.
(I end up trashing the recording anyway because I'm a shit bass player but the point remains, lol)
Eh, fingerstyle and pickstyle are both perfectly legitimate ways to play bass. All depends on the sound and vibe you're looking for.The problem here isn't what kind of picks, it's not using your fingers.
Yes, unfortunately my sarcasm didn't carry over.Eh, fingerstyle and pickstyle are both perfectly legitimate ways to play bass. All depends on the sound and vibe you're looking for.The problem here isn't what kind of picks, it's not using your fingers.
