Id say more than that, id say its worth more like $1600. The nicer prestiges in this grade play much nicer than any $1200 dollar guitar ive played. $2600? not so much.

Shit, if there was only production shit to go off of, id say it IS worth $2600, just compared to the prices of other production instruments. Honestly, the higher end prestige stuff ive played lately has been decently holding up against american jackson stuff in quality (i wont comment on the mojo, as i havent seen an ibby that has "it" made since 2001). however, when youre 600 or so dollars from a pretty solid custom instrument, suddenly not so worth it.

On the scale of production guitars only? Worth it, IMO. But id have a hard time arguing for much of any production guitar other than the boutiquiest stuff (Anderson, Suhr, Vigier, and yes, id argue PRS,) over 2 or 3 grand, when for the same price small custom stuff is available.

In short, if there werent custom stuff available for not too much more, Id say its worth it. With the resources available to us nowadays? Not so much.
