I'm looking to build a DIY overdrive. Likely some sort of tubescreamer clone or something.

Does anyone have any personal experience with any kit, or be able to make a recommendation? The more knobs and switches the better.

I need a project...

I like this one but it's been out of stock for some time

I suppose I could go the route of just buying a PCB and sourcing all of the parts myself too, which I have not yet done.

I built their Classic Overdrive. It's a great sounding pedal, and while hardly "easy," also not so hard that a relatively novice wiring person like myself wasn't able to assemble it on the first attempt (though I'll confess that when I plugged it in, my first words were "holy shit it works!"
