high point of the sad wings album is genocide and tyrant
Tracks 4-7 on Stained Class (Stained class through Savage) is like the primest cut of 70s metal out there :metal:I still think 70s Priest is the prime era of Priest. Painkiller's a great disc, but the songs on Sad Wings, Sin after Sin and Stained Class are just much deeper, better written songs. I'll take Tyrant over Painkiller anyday. Especially the Unleashed in the East version, or the one off of Halford's Live Insurrection.
Plus, Ian Hill actually PLAYED bass back then
Tracks 1 and 2 are awesome, not a streak though. They break it up with track 3 :lol:What about track 1? Exciter is like, the first speed metal song, ever.
