So I had the lights out in my room while jamming at home because my landlord was running an air compressor to do some flooring work, and the lights were flickering at the same time my amp was doing slight volume dips.

I went over to my footswitch to turn on the reverb and lo and behold;

1. The green LED for the clean channel is faintly on the whole time
2. When I turn my reverb off, the LED for ch3 (orange) flickers.

I never noticed this before, just wondering if I should be worried or what? The amp sounds fine, just never noticed this before.

Drew, does yours have similar phenomena?

Ah, that's to do with how the transformer interacts with the dips and troughs of a "less-than-ideal" power supply.

After going crazy trying to isolate some hum in my signal chain, i plugged into my power conditioner and it took care of it. I won't play without it now.

Consider the price of replacing your Roadster versus the price of a power conditioner. They're all cheap and worth protecting your gear!

Well, it's certainly never a bad idea :lol: There's no downside to a power conditioner, and worst case scenario, it'll protect your amp even if it doesn't fix any other issues.

I think since that one guy is gone it's kinda cool again to have blinky lights in a rig again.
