Interesting. Thats a damned good value compared to the other two. Spec'd out similar to the LTD in particular. And five bills less.

Talked to a friend who had an Epi. First one he recieved was a dud, but the replacement he got was one of his best guitars.

Also, no one should get that Sherman Explorer.

They should have rear routed it. I think most people would like it more if it were. Not many people like huge gaping holes exposed on the front of their guitars.

Leaving the pickguard off and just covering the wires in the route is just... Bad on any guitar. Suits the music I guess

The sherman seems like an easy fix though, Just have a pick guard made with that part of the logo :shrug: but That would mean another like $100 on top of the price probably?

However, I'll say I love my Thunderhorse which is an Epiphone. Especially with the Beard combers in it now.

Or just get an import Hamer. The XT Standards are very solid.
