Expedition Week | First Bites | National Geographic Channel

Anyone seen this? They developed a system to safely raise live great white sharks out of the water, tag them, take some basic measurements and photos, and then release them back into the ocean. Seeing someone standing next to a living 16' shark is simply amazing. :metal:

I have a huge hard on for sharks and have since seeing Jaws as a wee lad. I have been following this. Pretty bad ass. I desperately need to get my ass in a cage. It is not cheap though.

Yeah, I saw a couple episodes of this. Its really really cool. But I don't really understand what good comes of what they do with this 'data-collection'.


But what caught me off guard is that the actor Paul Walker (Fast & Furious) was on the ship... as a deckhand!? Like, he's not making a movie about this, he's just... doing it. Kinda crazy, and badass at the same time. "Oh, you vacationed in Morocco? I fucking tagged SHARKS" :lol:
