RIP :(

End of an era. I didn't realize he was in Fastway as well, I dug the hell out of those guys.

He was Fastway. The Fast comes from his name, the Way comes from the original bassist, Pete Way (UFO). Eddie and th singer were the only real constants in the band.

Unfortunately I think the only person in the continental US that bought Fastway albums other than me was probably you. :\

Not only did I buy the albums, I actually saw them (opening for Maiden on Piece of Mind, and at least one other time!)

One of my brothers was big into FastWay, so I heard a lot of their work back in the day. I actually didn't know he was in Motorhead, FastWay was where I knew him from.

Nope, I had it too and that riff is one I used back in the awesomw "name that riff" thread a while back.

RIP Fast Eddie!
The video for "Say What You Will" was on MTV approximately once an hour when the album came out, and it sold rather well. I, too, first heard of Fast Eddie through Fastway rather than Motorhead.

RIP.

And me. I loved Fastway when I was in High School.
Well then, it sounds like there are lot of Rock's Chosen Warriors on this forum. :metal:

R.I.P. ..Dude was awesome.

Loved him in Motorhead ...never really got into Fastway.
I had a black and white checkerboard sleeveless Fastway tshirt. Used to rock it with my Spicoli Vans back in 8th grade.
