There is a "go pro" option on the free version that will take you to a link containing the pro:

I've had the Free app for some time and used it on and off. It is good I think. However the info about how/if the free version is updated is missing. The description in the Play store is the same for both the Free and pro version.
This is what Guitarmageddon Pro has over Guitarmageddon Free:
- Far more exercises, I believe GMF has about 30% of the exercises that GMP gets.
- Backing tracks, currently in MIDI but we may also add mp3 backing tracks later on.
- Specialist exercises, a new section that is soon to be released. Includes exercises for Flight of the Bumblebee, slap guitar, 8 string guitar, licks in the style of….
- Goal tempos for every exercise. I believe this feature is coming out in a few months. Every exercise and lick will have 3 goal tempos and a video demonstration of me playing each one. Great for motivation.
Bottom line, there will be far more content on GMP. Weekly updates will include exercises suitable for pretty much any style of guitar player, not just shredders. Where as GMF will only really get a sample of that content.
This app is the result of thousands of hours of guitar playing and app development. And all for a few dollars.
Because the app features MIDI and images, there is no limit to how many licks, exercises, chords, scales we can add to this. Eventually the app will have all the useful scales, chords and arpeggios too. And you can add any of this to your "Favorites" section to create any routine you want.
I should also add that the app will store all of your tempos for every exercise which makes it easy to keep track of your speed.
Pro iOS version:
I will update the descriptions for both apps soon.
