Decided to use my friend's practice amp to do a cover of Pleasure To Kill from the mighty KREATOR. Did it last night and today :lol:

FWIW: my version is a full 10 seconds shorter, cause its that much faster than the original version. Faster = better.

I realize its shitty, but i still like it a lot more than most of the pod tones i hear. Makes me kinda want to get a small wattage tube amp for recording stuff like this. Recording songs and cover songs is a lot of fun in general, and great practice, fwiw.

Next, im gonna do a song that has an actual solo rather than really fast shit, then whammy bar shit :lol:

A dude on Home Recording (who knows his shit - Harvey Geist, though I probably just misspelled his last name) keeps a couple of those on hand for heavy bands, and runs them through 4x12 cabs. He says everyone is usually shocked by how good they sound for metal.
