Gearbox (Borderlands developer) making Duke Nukem.

It will be interesting if these guys do a postmortem on Game Developer. Just to see how far along 3D Realms were actually along with the project. Or how much of a mess they actually left behind.

I don't even recall any reports of rolling code being shown to the gaming press. Just rendered cutscenes AFAIK.

GBX was working on a Duke Nkem game a couple of years ago - but after Forever tanked development of it got scrapped...

I say F that and get to work on Borderlands II :lol: Actually They are probably already working on Borderlands II & we we get an announcement for it before the end of the year....

If it gets released, fuck yes!

This has been how many years in the making now? Should be interesting to see what comes out of it if its true.

Technically this hasn't been in the making, Duke Nukem Forever was in the making, until the developer collapsed/got bought out.

Still, I'm quite interested to see how this will go, Duke Nukem 1, 2 and 3D were awesome games, as is Borderlands, put the two together and this could be beautiful.

Sorry, thats what I was referring to... was waiting for Duke Nukem Forever to come out for what, maybe 10 years now? The originals were awesome.. its a shame the last installment was vaporware.
