I was actually going to skip this show because I have a few things around the house/vehicle that need repairs before I spend more money, but my buddy called me up last night to tell me he got us both on the guest list via his buddy who is Eric's tech.

I'm DEFINITELY stoked to go see him, I haven't seen him live since the '96 G3 show, but if, by chance, I get to do a little gear tour, I'm going to have a heart attack. I don't really care about seeing most guitarist's gear up close, because Rig Rundowns on YouTube provide enough of that, but this is EJ....all that vintage goodness!!!!

I caught him on this tour, it was a fun show! It was my second time seeing him but this was much more my speed - the previous time was all acoustic. Dude is definitely a monster player and he seems pretty self-aware these days about how particular he is about gear. He joked about looking all over LA for the right batteries for his pedals.

Enjoy!
