Dude, GWAR has played some of the tiniest venues ever. The last time they played Ziggy's in Winston Salem (doesn't exist anymore) Ziggy's had to remove the stage and all the bands played on the floor due to their giant Jewish Satan "Jewsifer" suit being so tall. :rofl: But I have seen them play some TINY venues and still rock out with all the props no problem. :yesway:

So, I fucked up. I thought the show was going to be on my day off, and I actually kinda...missed the show. So! We're going to see them tonight in Richmond! I have ALWAYS wanted to see them in their hometown, not sure why I think it would be any different, but I do for some reason? :lol: So hello 2 and a half hr drive. This is also me and my fiance's anniversary present to each other, so we're leaving early and going to Maymont park. If I don't forget, I'll grab my camera and take some pics of Maymont. :yesway:

My last band took promos there, and I will continue to take promos there just for the fact it is badass as fuck.

I was at Bonnaroo this past weekend and missed GWAR's set because they played at 3am. Apparently, I missed a hell of a show. Here's the lead sentence in a story about that show:

"Only Gwar could take on hippies and Margaret Cho while threatening to nasally violate Jay-Z and the entire Dave Matthews Band."

They actually got Margaret Cho (who performed a comedy set at the festival) to come onstage and 'service' Oderus.

Im really curious to see who all they're killing this tour, I haven't seen them since the Beyond Hell tour, and that show was great. The Jewish Devil was so tall, the venue had to take the stage out so all the bands played on the floor. :lol:

Well, we didn't even get to go. Car broke down about 80 miles from Richmond, and we're just now getting home. This sucks, 2nd time i've missed them and i'm out $55 for the tickets.

Apparently. I've (actually) seen them 4 times so far. The time before this, little did we know my fiancée was about 2 months pregnant, the venue made everyone stand outside for 4 hours in the hot August sun, we seen Goatwhore (first band) through the fucking window. She got sick, and we were both pretty burnt and pissed, so we left. Now, this time the hose to the radiator blew off. There was smoke everywhere :lol: I thought the fucker was on fire. Is it much to ask? I just want to see fat men in rubber monster suits killing things and playing metal.
