Lately, I've found these guitars to be incredibly interesting. I've been able to track down a few luthiers that make them custom. What I'm really interested in is if the playing style is any different for them. If anyone has one, put up the pictures!!! I would really enjoy talking about them.
Also, for those that aren't familiar with Harp Guitars, they are normal(generally), acoustic or electric guitars that have sub-bass or sub-treble strings attached to them (sometimes both) that act as droning strings. The most common Harp Guitars have 6 or 7 sub-bass strings attached above the normal acoustic neck. Some notable harp guitarists are Muriel Anderson, John Doan, and Andy McKee.
