I have a POD XT for practicing and writing, but use various tube amps for live and recording. I've never thought that POD came anywhere close to good enough for real use.

Have you owned a modeller?

I own a modeller and it's good enough for me. It's the foundation of my main rig.

I own one but use it for effects only.
