My dad did something similar before he passed away. My parents were divorced and I lived with my mother. When my aunt went through property settling it between his kids, they found a brand-new $6,500 four-wheeler sitting at his house with the title in my name. He had planned on giving it to me soon I suppose but never got the chance before he passed away from a heart attack. He had done some crappy things before and during the divorce which included claiming my four-wheeler as his out of spite during the property division for the divorce because I had sided with my mom (which I did for good reasons). Our relationship started improving a month or two before he passed away and apparently this was going to be his way of apologizing for that particular mistake.

BTW is that some sort of dimebag dean with a chrome/mirror/silver surfer type finish or just glossy as fuck?

Never been a fan of those guitars but that looks sick!

So, so awesome. :dio:

My son hasn't shown much interest, but if I die, I hope he wants to keep all my music stuff.

This story is awesome.
My son loves my guitars. Hopefully he keeps a love for it. He even has the moves.

The internet decided to be awesome.

I saw another Go Fund Me started by someone who wanted to buy the kid an amp. I always worry about random Go Fund Me pages started by people not affiliated with the people the money is supposed to be going to, as it would be really easy for someone to see something like this go viral, start a crowdfund, and then pocket the money and disappear. So, I'm glad at least a couple of these things were legit and got to the kid and his family.

Edit: Found the amp fund:
