Hi guys,

so I'm in need of some help. Regarding value, as posted in the topic. So the case is:

I'm looking for a new guitar and how it happens, I found an ad. This guy is looking to sell or trade his J-Custom RG8127. Supposedly in excellent conditon, so let's go with that.

My guitar being a Schecter Blackjack C-7, the old kind without active pups or that ridicilous card inlay, what would be it's value in a trade like this? Naturally they won't be on the same line, but since the guy is asking 1500 euros, how much would be "a fair trade" for me to pay + my axe?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I don't want to scam the other guy, but I don't want to lose in the trade either.

Well it doesn't really surprise me that it isn't worth much, but at least it's worth something. It'll help me haggle the price, so to speak. Now just to hope that J-customs are really worth their price
