Just tossing this out there:

Hydrogen - advanced drum machine for GNU/Linux

This, is pretty damn cool, and very free. It's a lot like Fruityloops, and works just peachy on OSX.

There's a Windows version as well, but who cares? :fawk:

I dicked around with Hydrogen in Linux. I should get it again...
