Today I was supposed to help my wife move furniture at her office, but I forgot and now I am in a little trouble. No shouting or anything, but an icy distance for a couple of hours. Of course, I didn't forget the gig I had last night, or anything else I've had planned lately, so that doesn't help.

If you have doghouse stories, post 'em up so I don't feel so alone. Kinda cold and dark in here...

I think everyone is in the doghouse from time to time. Sometimes it's a simple as forgetting something small to doing something majorly stupid. BTW, join the group http://www.metalguitarist.org/forum/groups/ball-chain.html . ;)

A story from me...let me see. My wife decided she wasn't in the mood for my "unique" sense of humor. So when I got her http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/15..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1MM0NY8ZKD2M6ZCG6B6H for Christmas she wasn't exactly pleased. She's gotten over it. I think anyway.

Last mother's day my wife asked me what I was going to be getting her. I replied "Nothing. You're A mother. Not MY mother."

Frankly, the fact that this even occurred to you as a serious response, much less that you actually said it, worries me.
It really didn't mean it that way, I meant "I wouldn't rub my junk on an inanimate object", it just came out that way  She understood pretty quickly, as I have a habit of saying things the wrong way when I'm not paying attention

I can't remember why since it was an "on-the-spot" thing that upset her, but I got told ON MY BIRTHDAY to move out. It was the week before "that time" so I knew she wasn't serious.

Well, I can remember feeling that way until I realized something very, very important.

OH shit I'm really in it now

I lost my Wedding Ring  I think one of my asshole cats might have got it but probably i lost it . I usually put it, my phone, picks, shades and wallet in my hat and a few times when i have been half awake & bolted off to work I realized i left the ring in my hat but i think it must have fallen out of it or something (I just carry it in the morning so i don't get hat hair at work)

IM sure I am toast  It wasnt an expensive ring really (pretty cheap one actually)

you are toast.

Still, I have to wonder, why do you take it off? I've worn mine for the last 11 years and can't stand to take it off.

You're lucky it was an inexpensive ring. Look at this as a cheap lesson; Next time, just wear it all the time. :agreed:
