I'm currently house shopping, but there's not a lot around here in my price range unless it's a run down shit hole. They also aren't building any new smaller houses, just new subdivisions with like $500k+ homes, which is a lot for around here.

That's a problem up in this area too. Every new construction is some monstrous abomination full of half-mil homes with no yards. Whatever happened to starter homes? 3 bedroom ranches and such?

There are lots of used houses around here, that's what I'm shopping for. It seems whenever I'm actually seriously shopping though, all the houses in the $130k range or so are run down shit holes. Whenever I'm not seriously shopping, it seems all the nice ones in that range show up :lol:
