I accidently got a lot of superglue on one of my nut files so it's very difficult to file the nut now

Can I remove the superglue in any way?

You keep files of your nuts?

I used to keep a spreadsheet of... oh, nevermind.
Is this an official Rocka thread? Let's see:

1. Did it mention ruining something?
2. Was it accidental?
3. Was superglue involved?
4. Did it mention nuts?
5. Was a rhetorical question asked seeking advice?

Yes, this has met all of the criteria for an official Rocka thread.
Not the kind of nut files I was expecting. Makes sense now why it's in the tech section.
I was disappointed that superglue was mentioned in the OP -- Kinda like throwing the punchline too soon. But then I saw this:

Unless somebody can tie this to the 26-year old knob
Are your nut files not double-sided? In any case, listen to Elysian. That should strip it.

The knobs are off - I'm assuming Rocka had his nut off before glueing it, too... #ThisStuffWritesItself

I'm 28.
If you somewhere read that I was 26 two years ago, you should know that.

Yup, but one side is E and one side is G, and vice versa for the next 2 files. :)
If you told me out loud it was a joke, I would have got it! :nono:
Rocka + Nut file = Ruined.
So you spilled something sticky that smells funny on the files for your nuts?

More or less the point of a "frame of reference" joke, Rocka; it's a blind recall bit. But... you have to assume that your audience has the reference point - in this case the oddly hilarious "removing a 26-year-old knob" thread that we all had a titter at.

Revealing that a frame of reference joke is, in fact, a joke leaves the whole thing flat. And for this reason, it's always a risk.
Post 1, original issue.
Post 2, the answer to the issue.
Post 3+n, where n -> oo, things distracting Ced from pumping out more sweet albums.

This should be it's own post, pinned in the Welcome Forum so all who join are well versed in the road ahead.
