[Jack Secret]

Ok, the story goes as such. I contacted Nate Perle to make me a JEM body and neck and to swirl that sumbitch. After he swirled the JEM body, I was thinking how I should have something a little more...I dunno...not a JEM! I saw he did other guitar shaped ghosts from Ibanez Xmas's past and saw the lovely 540PII which lasted two years in the USA and an extra year in Europe and Japan. The unofficial Alex Skolnick model, as it were. I asked Nate to swirl me one of those instead and in 4 months total time, body and neck were delivered and here's the final guitar.

Has an Edge Pro bridge, DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck and Tone Zone in the bridge.

My first custom guitar so really happy how it came out and it sounds fantastic. Nate Perle was a joy to work with. Good communication, sent lots of work in progress pics, didn't mind re-swirling if I wasn't feeling the swirl. He's the only one I'll deal with for custom bodies and necks.

Jesus, that is gorgeous. I know the Out of This Swirled guy is the one everyone seems to like, but I find his stuff too clean, and he always uses what seem to be dull colours. This, on the other hand, is just fucking MWAH!

Yes, yes, yes, I know. Remember, it was starting as a JEM till I changed the body. Next one will be dead on 540PII except the sharkteeth are gonna match the body color.

Trust me, if DiMarzio had orange pups, I'd have used them. The yellow on DiMarzio humbuckers isn't great either. That being said, white was the best choice.

Holy CRAP that's nice! Great colors on that. And nice to see a different body shape swirled for once. But yeah, go with Darren's advice on the pups. And swap out the vol knob for something that matches as well.

Thanks to all for the kind words (and even pickup color suggestions). She plays really great (if anyone cares to know ). Nate Perle did a fantastic job on the body and neck.
Makes me even more psyched for the next custom that Nate is going to make for me. Gonna play the hell out of this one till then, tho.
