damn, you beat me to it.

this song is already sooo much better than the previously released "el-dorado"...i already love it, and the video is AMAZING imho!

i'm so looking forward to this record, words cannot describe my love for Iron Maiden.

EDIT: oh, and i wanna have the money they spent on the video haha..
7 days until I see them w/ Dream Theatre.
The fact that Maiden has the money to make videos like this is a sign that all is right with the world. :yesway: Major bonus points for the Indy nod too. :D

Bruce sounds great!
Man, i'm listening to the song the 5th time already...it is indeed the very win i expected it to be!

Its one of the easy-listening ones, i'm sure the majority of the album will be more on the proggier side. But this one is just so "in my ear", 100% top notch summer- and feelgood music. Maiden > everything else. Bow down to their awesomeness!
Is there a version sans-sound effects out there?
I dont think so, at least not yet - maybe it will follow.
Wow. I'm surprised, I must admit. Like the tune, too. :yesway:
That was really cool :yesway:

Going to see them tomorrow night :hbang:

Samesies. Where are your seats?

Glad to see this video, it looks great. They clearly spent a LOT of money on the video, but it turned out well. Like the song, too :yesway:
I will be seeing them in Detroit in a couple days. Cant wait.

My only concern is I that I heard they are not playing a lot of the older stuff. I had a buddy go to the first show in Dallas and he said he didnt remember them playing some like Tropper, Run To The Hills, etc. I dont know if he was too drunk or what, but I want to hear some classics too.
This tour is mostly songs from Brave New World on. There are one or two older songs in the main set, and then three older songs in the encore.

Hrm. :\ Last time I saw them, it was almost entirely classic material, with maybe 3-4 "new" era songs in it. (New being anything that came after Seventh Son.) They encored with Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter (wtf?) but other than that, fucking awesome show.
Well, we know they're playing "Hallowed", because Nicko's still in the band.

New song rules! :tmm:

Was it the "Somewhere Back in Time Tour" they did last year? Cause if so, there's your answer
Man, I really havent felt anything they've done since about half of the songs on Dance of Death. :/

No, this was maybe ~3 years ago.
The new record is great. It didnt leave my CD-player since Friday (as we are lucky ones and have "Friday" as official day for new releases instead of Mondeay like the rest of the world :D ) , and it really grows with every day. Nothing for easy side-listening, this one needs some time and attention!

Oh, and the concert in Norway was simply amaing...review and pics following later that week.
My copy shipped yesterday. I should have it soon.
Picked up my copy this morning, fucking rules!!! Lots of Smith's writing on this one. :metal:
