I think it was something Bruce wanted when he and Adrian came back? Everyone stays or something along those lines. I think Janick is really there more for show than actual playing these days. I don't mind because he's really entertaining!

The only problem I have with Janick is when he tries to play Adrian's solo live, while Adrian is playing them(ie: The Evil That Men Do). Doubled solos when one person can't play them note-for-note suck.

I think Janick is a good guitarist though it annoys me when he starts throwing his guitar in the air like some party trick rather than just play. He does himself no favours.
